Denmark (Danish: Danmark), officially the Kingdom of Denmark, is a Nordic state in Northern Europe and the North Atlantic. In Europe, it forms Denmark proper, which is the southernmost of the Scandinavian countries, consisting of a peninsula, Jutland, and an archipelago of 443 named islands, with the largest being Zealand, Funen and the North Jutlandic Island. Thailand, officially the Kingdom of Thailand and formerly known as Siam, is a country in Southeast Asia. Thailand is the world's 50th-largest country by land area, and the 22nd-most-populous country in the world. The capital and largest city is Bangkok, a special administrative area.

Germany (German: Deutschland) officially the Federal Republic of Germany (German: Bundesrepublik Deutschland) is a country in Central and Western Europe. Covering an area of 357,022 square kilometres (137,847 sq mi), it lies between the Baltic and North seas to the north, and the Alps to the south. It borders Denmark to the north, Poland and the Czech Republic to the east, Austria and Switzerland to the south, and France, Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands to the west.
